There are many brave people and inspiring movements working to change society.
Listed below are organizations that fight to reform the pornography industry, stop sex trafficking, and curb rates of addiction.
I must give a Big Warning that self-knowledge of my disease will not keep me sober,
and this rabbit-hole is not recommended early in sobriety.
I tried to "cure" myself with this knowledge before, and that only lead to deepening self-hatred as I was unable to stop
(because I am an addict, see page 39, Chapter 3 of the AA Big Book here).
It is nonetheless helpful and encouraging at times.
I hope I can get more involved in these projects later, as my recovery progresses.
